Pneumatic Compression Devices

Pneumatic compression pumps are designed to assist in the moving of venous and lymphatic fluid when the vessels are impaired. Peristaltic pneumatic compression will propel the fluid through the body mechanically allowing it to be excreted normally.

Pneumatic compression devices force air in sleeves with multiple chambers which house overlapping cells. The pump forces air in to the cells which encourage lymph fluid to continue moving and not pool. Lymphedema Pumps are not just a reactive treatment but in many cases they aid in softening fibrotic tissues which will create an environment for higher efficiency lymphatic drainage.

Pneumatic compression treatment is used to treat a wide range of venous, lymphatic and arterial disorders.

Pneumatic Compression Device

4 Chamber, Venous & Lymphedema Compression Device

The Petite Basic System™ is a sequential pneumatic compression therapy system specifically designed for home treatment of venous insufficiency ulcers and lymphedema.

• Sequential compression with four overlapping compression cells to ensure distal to proximal flow and comfortable compression.

• Fully adjustable pause time to accommodate patients who require longer intermission for vascular refill.

• Pressure Lock-in feature prevents accidental tampering, for patient safety.

• The Petite Basic System™ garments are easy to put on and remove, with zipper closures and color-coded connections. The garments are available in a wide range of sizes, and are durable and easy to clean.

• The Petite Basic System™ can treat one or two limbs simultaneously.

Listed Below are some of the most popular Compression Pumps

Lympha Press, 201 MAX, Pneumatic Compression Device

Home treatment is an important component of lymphedema therapy. Treatment at home with the Lympha Press® 201MAX is easy and effective, saves time and money on clinic visits, and increases patient compliance.

Lympha Press® 201MAX has our short cycle time, and up to 24 overlapping chambers per garment. Lympha Press® 201MAX has three individual zones calibrated at the pump, enabling the healthcare practitioner to set three separate areas of compression to accommodate focal lesions, contractures or scar tissue, and to decrease pressure proximally for a gradient effect. Lympha Press® 201MAX can treat one or two limbs simultaneously, and can be used with all our quality garments, including the Comfysleeve™ 1-75 for arm and                                                       torso and Lympha Pants™ for complete torso treatment.

Lympha Press, Optimal, Pneumatic Compression Device

Home lymphedema treatment based on the principles of manual lymph drainage

Lympha Press Optimal® gives patients the benefits of the gentle touch of manual lymph drainage along with Lympha Press® calibrated gradient sequential compression.

Pretherapy™, based on the principles of manual lymph drainage. This mode starts by treating the proximal areas first.  Used with our  torso garments, Pretherapy™ treats  the abdomen, trunk or torso before starting the distal to proximal  therapy session.  Used with our arm and leg sleeves, Pretherapy™ gives special attention to the top                                                   part of the limb.

12-Zone Gradient, calibrated "at the pump." Pressure can be adjusted in each compression chamber individually, or in four groups of three chambers each, for comfortable treatment of painful or fibrotic areas.  The Optimal® has our Lympha Press® quick cycle time. Garments for torso clearance. Use with Lympha Pants™, for treatment of the abdomen and genital areas; or with Comfysleeve™ 1-75, for treatment of lymphedema and postmastectomy lymphedema in the shoulder, chest, back, abdomen and axilla areas.

Individualized therapy.  The Optimal® offers choice of pressure, gradient,  treatment  mode, and treatment time, to meet a wide variety of clinical situations and patient compliance needs. Pressure and treatment mode can be adjusted to accommodate painful areas, fibrosis, and other considerations.

Bilateral treatment.  The Optimal®, like all our Lympha Press® systems, can treat one limb or two, simultaneously.  This saves treatment time and improves patient compliance.

Patient lock - Pressure and modes are set and locked, according to physician prescription, making this exceptionally versatile lymphedema treatment system safe and easy to use at home.

 Lympha Press, Comfysleeve

ComfySleeve 1-75 is designed to meet the needs of patients with upper extremity lymphedema.  It treats the entire arm, shoulder, and one side of the back, chest and abdomen.  Its sequential, compressive massage action activates the lymphatics to absorb fluids and proteins, and coaxes fluids around blockages, into healthy areas for uptake.

ComfySleeve 1-75 provides gentle, targeted treatment to the axilla (armpit), as this area often requires therapy in patients with postmastectomy lymphedema due to lymph node removal or damage from radiation.

ComfySleeve for legs: Our newest leg garment, with 12 overlapping chambers, a wider boot and zipper closure. The                                            ComfySleeve has built-in hoses, for extra ease of use.

Lympha Press, Pants

Designed in accordance with the principles of manual lymph drainage, Lympha Pants™ contain 24 overlapping compression cells and treat the entire lower body, including the abdomen and groin area, while providing complete bilateral treatment of the lower limbs. Lympha Pants™ are ideal for treatment of truncal, abdominal and genital areas. Our unique "one size fits all" design means we can provide this important treatment to patients of almost every shape and size. Our patented adjustable boot feature supports and treats the foot in a comfortable, neutral position.

 Lympha Press, LymphaPOD Bariatric Suit

LymphaPod is the only sequential pneumatic compression therapy system designed specifically for the bariatric patient. Treatment for lymphedema and venous insufficiency in the larger patient

Larger patients with lymphedema have special needs. Their lymphedema often appears on the upper thighs, hips, and abdomen, areas which cannot be treated with standard leg garments.  LymphaPod is a home care system designed to treat large patients with limited mobility. It treats the entire lower body, including legs, hips, and abdomen.
